Assessments of Natural Ability require PERFORMANCE of virtual worksamples that test abilities and report the level of the test-taker's performance in that ability.

It is important not to confuse these with assessments of Personal Style which are very different.  Such assessments require a choice of pre-formatted responses to prescribed questions designed by the publisher and report how those responses fit into a series of pre-determined personality profiles.

Personal style assessments do not claim to measure abilities but are essentially self-report instruments to identify personality types.  These include the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the 16 Personality Factor Questionnaire, DISC (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Conscientiousness), and the Birkman Method.

Highlands Ability Battery

The Highlands Ability Battery is unique among assessment tools because it provides objective measurements of natural abilities based on performance.  Because it does not depend on self-reporting or on subjective appraisals, it gives you a clear and powerful picture of who you really are.  Please go to the separate tab on the Home page for more details.
